For those who asked: the bat has not come back so far. Thank goodness. We still don't know how he came in . Today was Alex's last day of camp and he is exhausted. His team won the championships, so we went to the harbor for a picnic lunch and ice cream! That is definitely a special treat for my kids. While Alex was at camp, Kateri, Luke and I went to the blueberry farm and picked another 20lbs. We are up to 60lbs. and not one has gone to waste. Let's just say they know us at the farm. Then we went to another farm 1/4 mile down the road from us that sells eggs and veggies. She loves the kids and let them feed the bunnies and chickens. Yesterday, she got in a shipment of 150 baby chicks. She bought them b/c she can't keep up with the demand for farm fresh eggs. Amazing! Maybe we can actually get some from her next year. The rest of the day will be spent in quiet, hopefully, with Luke taking a much needed nap.
