We complain a lot about NH cold and snow and lack of sun but one of the benefits of NH is the great sledding. In our back yard we have a natural sledding sensation. Needless to say we built a huge ramp and had a blast. Here are a few pics. The human target is Dan Ahearn, Aram is yielding the camera, and Alex is risking life and limb for a thrill. If you look close at the pic with our dog, Shadow, you will see a half built teepee that Aram and the kids built this summer. Alex easy maintained a height of 3-4 feet off the ground and a length of 10-12 feet before landing with a thud. Kateri took a few runs with Aram but that was before the camera made it outside. The slopes at the kalpakgian house will remain open for any takers as long as we have snow... 6 more months...

wow.. That looks awesome!!! Not sure about the ramp though.. looks a bit wild for me. I would like to just sled down the hill... sans ramp that send you flying through the air!
