Regional Track Meet

95+ degrees. 8 hours. What a day. At the end of it, Alex had a slight headache. Not too bad. I brought all the kids down by myself and sat under the stands. It was 10 degrees cooler there!

The kids did well in the heat and boredom. Kateri and Luke even ran races.

Alex's 1st race was the 400 meter. He came in 1st in his heat, 3rd over all. I think if he had someone chasing him he would have run faster, but as you can see from the pic... he's running so far ahead of the kids- he's alone!!!

2nd race was the 50 m. dash. He came in 2nd, but didn't qualify overall.

3rd race was at the end of the day and it was the 4x100 meter relay. They finished 1st overall!!! Yay! You can see his hand off then... there he goes to win.

So what does this mean? We're going to the State meet tomorrow for the 400 and 4x 100. Again. With all the kids. In Manchester. In the evening! Aram!!! Why do you work so much! :O)

Nah, it'll be fine and much, much cooler.
