A gift from Ohio

My dad gave Alex a BB gun that used to be my brother's. Talk about a kid in 7th heaven.

Well, after Labor Day, we headed home. We were supposed to have visited a few friends along the way, but Will and Luke were getting sick. So we drove to NY and stayed w/ Aram's childhood friend and his family. It was a nice stopping point and the kids had one last hoorah w/ more friends.

The next day was my birthday and we headed home to pick up sorely missed Shadow (by Aram) and have dinner with Mitch. We drove from 90 degree weather, and doing hay for my dad in this heat, to 60 degree weather and perpetual cloud cover. Or so it feels like it! I miss the 90 degrees!!!
But the leaves are changing and the nights crisp. It is beautiful this time of year.

We're home!! After 3 weeks of fun.
