Christmas Vacation

Here are some random pics of the kids on vacation. We were having an awesome snow storm outside from midnight to about an hour ago. Now it's died down and left us with about 12-18 inches of snow. Thank you so much to a good friend of ours who came to plow us out!! Now I don't have to do so much by hand this afternoon.

One good thing about this snow is we can build safety walls for the kids as they go down our steep hill while sledding. Every year we build a big buffer at the bottom of the hill to stop the kids before they hit a tree. This year there hasn't been a big snow until now. The kids have been sledding on 1 inch. Luke hit a tree!!! Two days before Christmas, he's flying so fast down the hill and into a tree. He's so lucky nothing fractured! But the right side of his face swelled pretty good. When he smiles that side of his mouth goes down and the left side of his mouth goes up. He looks like the two-faced man from Batman! Poor little guy. It could have been much worse.

And Alex finished up his indoor soccer with a win and then a loss. It was so close and very exciting. Aram said Alex's team plays better than his high school team!
