Merry Christmas 2012

They got their white Christmas.

He's a little excited!

Last year was a Christmas of weapons and this year was the Christmas of crafts.  Lots of crafts and drawing kits... you name it and they got it.  Alex got bigger items as well b/c he's almost a teen now and doesn't do toys anymore.  So there were lots of gifts and lots of toys on Christmas morning, but what do my kids do in the afternoon?  Do they play with their new toys?  No... they draw for hours with their new art kits.  Geesh!  Actually it makes me happy how much they draw and read.

So what was our December like?  We went to Alex's choir concert at La Salette and saw the lights as well.  We went to a production of the Snow Queen.. it was very good by the way.  I just forgot my camera.  Then we went to a Christmas Carol play that was awesome.  My kids want to be in the production next year.  After that we went to the Hajians' house for a visit.  Aunt Nancy sure does know how to put on a feast!!  We have a lot of fun with them.  Christmas Eve came and went with dinner at the Vigneaus'.  Christmas Day came and went with dinner at Pa's house.  New Year's Eve at the Souliotis' house, and finally dinner here on New Year's Day.  What a whirlwind of activities!  I actually enjoyed being snowed in for a day.

Now we are back to the grind of every day life...  work, school, basketball, skiing, exercising, cooking, and planning my gardens for next year.

I hope everyone's Christmas was a blessed and peaceful one.  May God bless you all throughout this New Year, and I hope we keep Christmas in our hearts all year long.
