This blog is meant to be a kind of growth chart for the kids and hopefully bring good memories for them as adults. Here are some random facts:
Alex will be 9 in a month(where does the time go?) Is in the 3rd grade and has really learned to manage his time better, but still stands all day to do his work. If he sits, his mind shuts down. So funny. He is very, very smart. Such an easy student to teach.
He loves Star Wars and will spend hours building with legos. Actually better models than the lego sets. That should be where or who he works for in the future!
He plays soccer and really likes to ski. He is very good. Uncle Peter taught him a lot in both areas.
He wakes up early everyday to see Daddy leave. He is sad if he can't and it possesses his mind until Aram leaves. Is he type A like mommy?
Kateri is 6 and in the 1st grade. She finally gets to do things like her older brother. She was scared to ski this year, but is excellent at it and soccer. Maybe Peter will give her pointers later.
She begs me to homeschool her and I actually have to make her play. Then she'll read all day if I let her. She already read all the Magic Tree House series! I keep telling her to stop trying to grow up so fast.
She doesn't have a favorite toy or hobby. Well... her fave thing is to hold Will all day and help mommy. What to do with her. She'll make an awesome babysitter in 6 yrs. for all those needing them. :o) She's a mini me most of the time, which is NOT a good thing! But she's so cute!
Lukey boy... he is definitely all boy. Loves legos so much that for his 4th bday in 3 weeks only wants legos! I don't think they're supposed to be playing w/ lego sets until 6. Isn't that what the box ages say? Well he's actually a great builder and becoming a great drawer like Alex. I'm definitely not stopping his artistic talents.
It's so cute to see him take care of Will like Alex did for Kateri. He definitely loves his little brother.
He also really likes books. Good thing Kateri can read b/c I can't keep up with his demand.
She likes to read and he likes to listen, perfect!
Willy boy. He's just cute. No other words are needed except he's 5 months old. He has no desire to roll yet and I couldn't care less! Let him stay in one place, but he is almost too big for Kateri. She cannot carry him anymore. She still holds him while I make dinner most nights, until Will yells so loud b/c he's tired of her coddling. And she does like to coddle and kiss!
Will smiles when the kids walk in the room and when they disappear, he yells until they come running, then he giggles and does it again.
4 children and 4 different personalities! Makes for a fun life, but one young man at Market Basket told me that was too many. Poor kid.
