Keira is just too cute.Poor Tanya didn't feel the best. 5 more weeks to see what they're having!
This year Tridium was amazing. Maybe due to the fact that Alex served on all 3 days. The kids were very good, so Aram and I were able to concentrate. Even with all the late nights, my kids were still in good spirits and semi even tempers.
The Vigil is the greatest mass of the year for Catholics. It starts with the lighting of the Easter fire and candle. Reading 7 readings in the dark for 1-1 1/2 hours. Just when you're eyes start to droop, the lights come on and bells start ringing and everyone is singing Alleluia so beautifully. Kateri asked if that is when Jesus arose. After our 3 hr mass, we went to have cake with Fr. Rick and other parishioners. The kids were in bed by 11:40 w/ threats hanging over them if they got out of bed before 7 am. They slept until 8! :)

I really like the blanket Tanya has around her! Where did you get it? In 1994 Dawn and Kevin had their first Easter celebration at their small apartment with the family. The table was set with every piece of china they had gotten for wedding presents. After 2 hours in the kitchen washing up Kevin's grandmother Fern and I decided we would use paper plates from then on at family gatherings! They have such beautiful styles of plates now! I know it's not "eco" but sometimes it helps! We can recycle ours here can you? Looks like a fun time was had by all. We did too a million eggs hidden and found in about 2 seconds!-Auntie Nancy K.
