Field Trip Part 2

Here we are killing time before the State House tour. This is a copy of the Liberty Bell. Engraved on the bell, it says all citizens of this land are free. So Luke said to his doctor(when he got 3 immunizations) he was free by standing by the bell.

Kateri had a blast playing with Natalie. I really wish we lived closer, so we could join their group. They do so many things together.

We ate lunch outside, tried to keep the boys out of the mud puddles(b/c we had to dress nicely for the State House), visited the monuments outside the S. H., then went to the Concord library while still killing time. At the library all the kids went to separate places with stacks of books, and it was so quiet except for little murmurings of reading out loud. It was hilarious that the library had such power over them! Yeah some of you say-nerds!-but our kids will excel! :)

And that antique meat grinder from the "general store" is what we used to grind deer meat growing up. My parents still have it.

Will playing with his godmother, Sherri.
