Field Trip Part 3

We met the Governor, sat in his chair, sat in on an assembly, learned the Chinook dog was just voted as our state dog, and saw the hall of flags. That was actually awesome w/ the flags from the Civil, Korean, and Vietnam wars, the moon, etc.

When the kids sat in the governor's chair-they said their name. The tour guide asked Luke, "So Mr. Chatterbox what's your name?" And he responded, "I'm Governor Luke!"

Also I learned it was Gen. John Stark who said our state motto-"Live Free or Die, Death is not the Worst of Evils!"
