If you've watched the movie "The Last of the Mohicans" with Daniel Day Lewis then you would know this place. Chimney Rock is where they filmed the last scene with the waterfall and the girl falling off of it. We couldn't hike up on top, but we were at the bottom of the waterfall.
Also Aram made me hike Chimney Rock and other very scary rock formations. Yeah, I know there were fencing around, but I was PETRIFIED! I'm glad I did it, but I hated seeing the kids that close to the edges. Especially Will who likes to climb under, over, or through things!!! It was breath taking and the pics don't do justice. I hate not being in control, so this was good for me even though I was mad!
