This little guy was just outside our basement slider. These are not the smartest critters out there. All I can say is thank you that Shadow is blind, deaf and losing his smell. He was 3 feet from the porcupine and knew something wasn't "right", but continued on into the house. I hate paying the vet for Shadow's porcupine incidents. Aram chased him off b/c porcupines have already "tasted" our house. We have nice little chunks taken out of the garage door wall. In NH I guess we can shoot porcupines if they're eating your house. And up on our hill we have A LOT of porcupines!!!
